The Kawasaki ZX-6R is a great bike for your everyday rider and it is a very user friendly piece of equipment.
It is powerful too- with a 636cc engine evenly spread between the power and torque, the bike feels evenly balanced and less extreme. With ABS as an optional extra to the bike, the cost can be pricey but definitely worth the extra £££ and, with traction control as standard, this bike is truly a must have.
The ride quality of this bike is something you have to try to believe; speed bumps, pot holes, random bumps and quick speeds, this bike takes it all without any faulting. The steering is balanced perfectly between light and heavy allowing you to turn quickly and sharply so you are not going to miss your next turn even if you are a little late.
Moving along the roads quickly and clean with this bike is no problem as it seems to glide through the RPM with it eventually passing through 8000 to the bigger air box where it hits 10000RPM+. The mid-range to this bike is vastly more impressive than the 599cc model.
As far as the build goes on this bike, it has been gives an A* rating by many and the term disappointed is not something you will ever find being used where this bike considered. Today, prices of a supersport bike are pretty much “you pay for what you get” and, on this occasion, you definitely are getting more bang for your buck.

Kawasaki has unveiled the new 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R for the global markets. For the year 2022, the Ninja ZX-6R gets new colour schemes, new body graphics and a transparent visor. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a highly-acclaimed middle-weight supersport motorcycle. The BS4 version of this fully-faired motorcycle was on sale in the Indian market until 2020. Now, the new 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R launched in India in the BS6 avatar.
Globally, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is offered in two new colour schemes. They are – Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black and Metallic Matte Twilight Blue with Metallic Diablo Black. While the former colour scheme features sporty red highlights on the fairing and rims with bold 6R graphics, the latter gets subtle neon yellow accents on the motorcycle. The initial gears are decently tall and that makes the motorcycle pretty capable on the racetracks as well as on the congested city streets. The 636cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder DOHC four-stroke engine powers the Ninja ZX-6R. Due to the 67.0 x 45.1 mm bore and stroke, this bike has an extra 37ci above ordinary 599cc sport motorcycles. It is a significant increase in power. Updates for 2019’s engines make it possible for the engine emissions to meet Euro4 regulatory levels, but without compromising exhilarating racing performance.
Ultra-fine atomizing injectors were used to fulfill the Euro4 pollution criteria without sacrificing the engine’s performance. Droplets smaller than 60 microns in diameter promote optimum air-fuel mixing, improving combustion efficiency. Emissions are reduced, but riders who have grown to enjoy the Ninja ZX-6R’s powerplant will notice an increase in performance and torque.
For maximum power and seamless power delivery, the Ninja ZX-6R “636” has a 5.09-liter airbox feeding the engine. The intake funnel shape enhances engine performance in the low-to-mid-range. One and four of the intake funnels are shorter, but the other two are taller. This design aids in delivering the optimal sense of power.
The piston skirts include a molybdenum coating to decrease friction, protecting the engine’s heart. Each cylinder in the engine has a connecting tube to enhance performance and reduce pumping loss.
