Mahindra has finally launched the eKUV100 electric vehicle (EV) in India at Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra eKUV100 Review : Powertrain & Range

The eKUV100 comes fitted with a 15.9kWh battery pack, that powers a single electric motor that produces 54.4hp (40kW) and 120Nm. This battery can be charged to 100 percent in 5hr 45min on a regular charger (using the port on the front right fender), or to 80 percent in 55min on a fast charger (using the port on the front left fender). Mahindra eKUV100 Review : Performance

Apart from the newly designed badging, the electric KUV comes without a gear lever. The redesigned closed-off front grille comes with little arrow-shaped inserts, six of which are painted in blue. The two charging port flaps, one on each front fender are the most noticeable improvements. Apart from that, the headlights and taillights have blue accents. The new eKUV100, according to Mahindra, has additional connection features like remote diagnostics, cabin pre-cooling, and real-time location monitoring. The driver’s driving pattern and battery status could be monitored by the electric compact crossover. All four power windows, power steering, a touch screen infotainment system with app connectivity and at least two airbags are standard on the eKUV100.
