Specification of 2023 Emflux Motors One

The Emflux One packs a liquid-cooled, 60 kW AC induction motor capable of putting out 53 kW (around 70 bhp) of maximum power from the controller. The power source is a Samsung lithium ion 9.7 kWh battery, which takes just over half hour to charge from 0 to 80 per cent. The fully-charged battery is said to have a range of 200 km on a single charge. The Emflux One has a long list of features, including a 6.8-inch TFT instrument panel with built-in GPS navigation system, Bluetooth, wi-fi, real-time vehicle diagnostics and a dedicated mobile app for remote customization and bike-to-bike connectivity.

The Emflux One has a tubular steel trellis frame and boasts of 43 mm USD forks (upgradable to race-spec Ohlins USD forks) and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear (upgradable to Ohlins 46 mm Monotube Gas Shock). Braking duties are handled by Brembo-powered 300 mm dual-disc brakes up front and a single 220 mm disc brake at the rear, with standard dual-channel ABS. The 17-inch wheels come shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres.

2023 Emflux Motors One Review : Powertrain & Range

The guys that run the startup, Emflux Motors, admit that the idea people have about electric vehicles in India is that they are “slow and boring and flimsy, badly designed and unreliable.” Emflux motors is looking to break all those misconceptions and build a motorcycle that is well designed, fast, robust and high-quality. If the test-rider video host’s experience on the “Emflux One” concept bike is anything to go by, if this bike gets into production it will absolutely be a contender, not just in India but possibly globally.

Emflux Motors has been around for about two years now, and to have a working prototype in that time is pretty impressive. The company started with five people and is now up to 21 people. The company is not limiting itself to sportbikes, though, or even motorcycles. Vinay Raj Somashekhar, the co-founder and chief designer at Emflux, says “once we develop the technologies to run an electric superbike, it will be easier for us to build any sort of vehicle that we want.”

The bike is, to my eye, a real masterpiece of design. It’s just gorgeous. And beyond its looks, it’s running Brembo brakes, LED lights, and Öhlins suspension. It has ABS and traction control. It can go from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in three seconds with a top speed of 200kph (124mph), in its prototype form, though that is 40% of the performance expected from the production version. It puts out 71hp and 84nm of torque (that’s 62fl-lb) on a bike that, in its final production version, is expected to weigh 169kg (not-quite 373lbs) and will go 200 kilometers (124 miles) on a charge. The company claims the bike can achieve an 80% charge in 36 minutes.

Emflux One offers superior performance for an electric motorcycle. With a 124-mile range and a Lithium-ion battery, 84 Nm torque at 8400 RPM, 72 PS power at 8500 RPM, and a top speed of 124 mph, it is one of a kind. The superbike has a curb weight of 300 lbs. Tubeless tires and alloy wheels are provided as standard.

The motorcycle is expected to reach 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds. Emflux offers cast alloy wheels that are upgradable to forged alloy. It uses Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 120/70 ZR17 front tire and Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. There are 43 Upside-Down Forks front suspension and 46 mm Mono Gas Shock rear suspension. Emflux provides a range of 124 miles in the city and 93 miles at 49 mph on the highway. The One offers a 45T/15T chain drive and a direct drive transmission. The motor controller supports regenerative braking, which is a technological masterpiece.

The great foresight has led to an electric engine that is very eco-friendly and sustainable. The Emflux One is a footstep in a new direction for India. The futuristic thought arose in a handful of engineers in India. Emflux Motors is a futuristic company that is looking forward to expanding its horizons with investments from angel investors. An effort from a group of young minds led to the creation of the Emflux One. The company, although a startup, has great things planned for the future. The anticipated success of the Emflux One will supposedly bring Emflux Motors the capital to come up with more futuristic automobiles that may help put them on the international market soon.
