Harley-Davidson Streetfighter 975 Review 2022 – My Attitude My Bike : Hello friends, if you are thinking of buying a “Bike” and you have no detailed idea about car, I welcome you to this blog. Today I will let you know – “Harley-Davidson Streetfighter 975 Review 2022”.

Harley Davidson is one of the popular brands that are known for their iconic cruiser bikes all over the world. The company was founded by William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson and thus gets the name Harley-Davidson. Surviving the Great Depression of 1933 is one of the legendary feats of the company. The company gained recognition due to their powerful V-twin engine and the roadster body type. The brand is revered by bike lovers from all over the world and even from fan clubs that are dedicated to the brand.

Harley-Davidson has unveiled a bevvy of new models for the 2022 model year, one of which is a streetfighter dubbed “Streetfighter.” It will be powered by a 975cc V-twin engine and will be built on the same modular architecture as the Custom 1250. The huge, muscular fuel tank tapering to a slim tail section that leaves a lot of air underneath it is undeniably attractive. The design lacked a rear number plate, so it’ll be fascinating to see how Harley decides to install one. The Streetfighter 975’s design appears to be heavily influenced by the Yamaha MT-01, which isn’t a terrible thing.

Highlights of Harley-Davidson Streetfighter 975

The all-new Streetfighter 975 is Harley-Davidson’s answer to the street naked segment. It looks properly aggressive with a mass forward design and minimal tail section. The motor takes centrestage in the design, while most of the other design elements like round headlamp, turn indicators and instrument console are unmistakably Harley.

Harley-Davidson Streetfighter 975 Review

Harley Davidson is one of the popular brands that are known for their iconic cruiser bikes all over the world. The company was founded by William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson and thus gets the name Harley-Davidson. Surviving the Great Depression of 1933 is one of the legendary feats of the company. The company gained recognition due to their powerful V-twin engine and the roadster body type. The brand is revered by bike lovers from all over the world and even from fan clubs that are dedicated to the brand.

Harley Davidson bikes are powered by engines of humongous power that make them appear on the superbikes list. Harley Davidson is known to make cruiser bikes, but only some of them are offered with the powerful engines.

The bike was manufactured at the American company’s Rushmore plant. The bike is built on the tourer bike platform that gives it cruiser bikes look. At the front, the bike features full LED headlight and twin fog lamps. To enhance the look of the bike, the front of the bike has a big front fairing with nakedly chiselled clear lens visor. For superior performance, the bike features Twin-Cooled™ Twin Cam 110™ engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox setup. The bike generates torque upto 156 Nm at 3750 rpm.

The bike features a large front cowl with windshield, low slung seating and carries bags behind the driver’s seat. The bike is powered by the 1.7-litre V-twin unit that produces close to 65bhp and 134Nm of torque; the engine allows the bike to generate high power at low acceleration.

The Forty-Eight is the sports series from the American bike manufacturer. The bike was made in the classic design alternative to the dark series sportsters. It has the traditional peanut-shaped tank, spoked wheels and lots of chrome. The bike runs on the Evolution® 1200 cc V-Twin engine that generates power upto 60.83 PS @ 5500 rpm and torque upto 96 Nm @ 4250 rpm.

The sleek body and a small fuel tank make the bike achieve great speeds. The bike features the LCD instrument panel integrated into the handlebar mount that gives the bike a minimal look. The squat, round, single-pod headlight unit now gets the full LED treatment, and the LED daytime running light (DRL) ring around the main light is a very distinctive touch.

There are many Harley Davidson superbikes in India, but due to their high price, they are only afforded by the people in the elite class. The brand has tough competition in the market with rivals like Indian, Moto Guzzi and Triumph but the upcoming Harley Davidson superbikes are expected to be one step ahead in the competition.

Harley-Davidson Streetfighter 975 Review 2022 : Impressive Looks

The all-new Streetfighter 975 is Harley-Davidson’s answer to the street naked segment. It looks properly aggressive with a mass forward design and minimal tail section.

The motor takescentrestagein the design, while most of the other design elements like round headlamp, turn indicators and instrument console are unmistakably Harley. The round headlamp gets a minimal, blacked-out cover. We expect it to feature all-LED lighting.

The Streetfighter 975 features a single-pod instrument console. It may feature an analogue and digital readout or maybe even a completely digital layout on the production model.

For a sporty stance and better leverage, the handlebars are flatter and wider. It gets bar-end mirrors like the Harley Street Rod, while the switchgear looks similar to the Street 750.

The sporty fuel tank is all-new and slopes towards the rider. The bike also gets what looks like air intakes under the fuel tank.

The seats are sporty and flat. The pillion seat is longer though, and should be more accommodating than the competition.

There are no rear turn indicator stalks, which could mean that the tail lamp assembly could have integrated LED turn indicators. The taillamp is also expected to get LED lighting.

Going by past Harleys, expect a bratty exhaust note from the minimal and sporty 2-into-1 slash-cut exhaust.

While we do expect the rear monoshock damper to have some sort of adjustability, the front upside down forks appear to be non-adjustable. The footpegs are rear-set for a sporty riding position.

Developed in-house, the all-new 975cc liquid-cooled V-twin motor is the third liquid-cooled Harley engine since the V-Rod and Street 750 series. We expect the new motor to offer Street 750 levels of refinement and loads of torque.

Like most Harleys, the Streetfighter 975 will get a belt drive for a silent and lighter application.

The Streetfighter 975 gets dual front discs clamped with Brembo radially mounted calipers and a rear disc with calipers from Harley Davidson. The new style alloys are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Street radials.

Harley-Davidson Streetfighter 975 Review 2022 : Performance

This will help provide the necessary strength and performance that modern nude bikes need to compete in this red-hot segment. Low slash-mounted exhaust looks resilient and also sounds apart, based on what we hear during a Harley-Davidson promotional video. Tubular steel frames also appear similar to custom/Roadster units, but Streetfighter gets stubbier and more rigid-looking Swingarm, most likely to improve maneuvers and rear grip during a quick ride. The prototype rolls on a conventional size (in-Class) 17-Inch sped alloy-speaking wheels in an older style Michelin pilot Power 2ct Rubber, in a traditional size (120/70-17 front, 180/55-17 rear).

A pair of Cross-drilled discs that were pinched by a sturdy radial-Mount Monoblock caliper from Brembo. Further braking arrangement is equipped with a stainless steel brake line. The rear braking duty is managed by piston calipers opposite a Harley-Davidson branded and a single Cross-drilled rotor.

Unlike the brothers that are 1,250 custom, we can not tell whether the Streetfighter uses cables or hydraulic couplings driven. We can see that it uses the final drive of the belt rather than the chain/sprocket setup — like the discontinued Buell 1125CR.

Suspension-wise uses an inverted fork and a vertical shock absorber is installed, but it is unclear whether it operates through the linkage or not. Buell 1125CR utilizes a direct-link arrangement with a very well-known installation due to the high level of rider taste.

Ergonomically this bike gets a rear-mounted Sportier foot control and a tallish handlebar with a neatly integrated rearview mirror into the ending Bar. The overall line of the bike is sharp, with pronounced Vees used to emphasize the tail, Swingarm, and, of course, the 975cc heart of the Streetfighter. Just as it looks is the cutover in the fuel tank for the rider’s knee — a necessity during heavy braking maneuvers.
