The front fascia of the Bolero Neo Plus will be the same as the recently launched Bolero Neo.

2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Review : Powertrain & Range
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is all set to take the Indian SUV market by storm. The Bolero Neo Plus is a performance SUV that will rival the Tata Safari, Maruti Suzuki SX4 S-Cross and the Volkswagen Tiguan. It will come with a range of engines including petrol, diesel and hybrid options. There will be one engine available for the Mahindra Neo Plus: a 2.2-litre, turbocharged, inline-4 diesel engine. In “Power” mode, this engine can generate a maximum of 120 PS, while in “Economy” mode, it can crank out 95 PS. Talking about its transmission, it will have a 5-speed manual transmission.
2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Review : Performance
2023 Bolero Neo Plus will measure 4400 mm in length, 1795 mm in width, standing 1812 mm tall with a 2680 mm wheelbase. Gross vehicle weight stands at 2,390 kgs. Looking at the dimensions and the engine specs, we can’t help but say that Bolero Neo Plus is more or less a rebadged version of the TUV300 Plus with minute design changes. These design changes will be similar to what Bolero Neo received over the TUV300.
For the passenger segment, variants on offer with 2022 Bolero Neo Plus include P4 and P10. These are further divided, as per the seating layout on offer. Mahindra will also offer an Ambulance variant, which is based on the P4 trim.
Speaking about seating layout, leaked document reveals that the SUV will come in two seating options. First is a 9-seater layout and the other is a 7 seater option. The 9 seater Bolero Neo+ will get the same layout as we had seen in the TUV300 Plus. Two in the front, 3 in the middle row and 4 at the rear on side facing bench seats. The 7 seater option will have three rows of seating, all facing the front.
Our Opinion
The upcoming Bolero Neo Plus will be available in the P4 and P10 variant options. The P10 variant is expected to be offered in multiple trim options. The vehicle might be offered in both seven-seat and nine-seat layout options. That said, it is to be seen if the company will consider introducing a nine-seat version as it will impact the Global NCAP safety ratings. The Bolero Neo Plus will also be offered as an ambulance.
