Specification of 2023 Okinawa Oki100
Without revealing the final specifications of the production version, Okinawa earlier stated that the motorcycle will have a top-speed of 100 kmph (hence the 100 in its name) and it will be heavily localized. In fact, save for the battery cells, all the other components will be locally made.
Capacity of the lithium ion battery pack has not been revealed yet but expect the electric commuter to have a range of up to 150 km on a single charge. For reference, the prototype which was showcased in 2018 was powered by a 60 Ah 73 V battery pack which was capable of charging in two hours through a fast charger. The motor was a 3.3 hp unit. Okinawa hinted that the final production version is most likely to have a different battery and motor combination but the key performance figures would remain intact.
The compact electric motorcycle is equipped with telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension, alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes (could be offered with single-channel ABS), fully digital instrument console, and a belt drive.

The Okinawa Oki100 will be powered by a 2.5 kW belt-driven electric motor that will churn out 3.3 PS of power and will come with detachable lithium-ion batteries. The electric motorcycle will draw its power from 72V 63Ah swappable lithium-ion batteries and the company claims a riding range of around 150 kilometres on a single charge and once the battery is drained, it can be fully juiced up in just 2 hours via the standard fast charger. Although the electric motorcycle churns out just 3.3 PS of power, being an EV it will develop a healthy torque output and the company also claims a top speed of 100 kmph.
The Okinawa Oki100 electric motorcycle will be loaded with new modern-day features. The E-bike will get an all-digital instrument cluster that will show a ton of information like speedometer, odometer, twin trip-meters, low-battery warning, battery remaining status and more. Like other Okinawa scooters, the Oki100 electric bike is also expected to get a four-in-one immobilizer key by which you can turn on the horn & lights of the bike, can lock/unlock it, can immobilize it to protect it from strangers or thieves and also can switch on the ignition of the E-bike remotely. The bike will also get smartphone connectivity as well as OTA updates in the future.

The Oki100 will have a top speed of 120 kmph, with a range of 150 km.The Okinawa Oki100 electric motorcycle, which was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo,Jeetender Sharma, Founder and MD, Okinawa, told carandbike in an exclusive interaction. The Oki100 electric motorcycle will have performance comparable to a 125-150 cc motorcycle, and will go up against the Revolt RV400 in the electric motorcycle segment.
The Oki100 will have a top speed of around 120 kmph, and even when used with full performance, the claimed range will be around 150 km on a single charge. The Oki100 is expected to get swappable lithium ion batteries, and state-of-the-art features, including geo-fencing, built-in satellite navigation, over-the-air updates and more.
The battery will be altogether different, and it will be a different style altogether. The battery will have a range of 150 km in high-speed model, but if you use the Economy mode, the range will be more than that
Apart from the Oki100, Okinawa is expected to launch three more electric two-wheelers, including the Cruiser maxi-electric scooter which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Another high-performance electric scooter is also expected to be launched, along with an e-bike for commercial applications, designed for load carrying, including delivery and courier services.

The Oki100 is rumored to include swappable lithium-ion batteries and cutting-edge capabilities such as geo-fencing, built-in satellite navigation, over-the-air upgrades, and more advance features. Though the actual price of the Okinawa Oki100 has not been confirmed yet, but as the bike is expected to utilize a fully localized facility hence, we can expect it will be competitively priced.
